Research activities

The Department carries out scientific research on socio-economic aspects of development of branch of communication and informatization of Ukraine and ways of improving the effectiveness of independent work of students.

Scientific activities involved students of all faculties of the State University of telecommunications. Regularly held meetings of scientific sections «Socio-economic aspects of development of the communication industry» and «Modern problems of economy», «Actual problems of economy». Students take an active part in scientific-practical conferences and Olympiads: «Information society of Ukraine: problems of formation and development», «Analysis of performance indicators of enterprises in the industry and in the sphere of informatization», «World of information and telecommunications».

The Department lecturers constantly take part in scientific research work on the problems of higher school on the theme: «the Organization of independent work of students», systematically publish scientific articles, presentations and reports at the scientific - practical seminars, conferences, methodical conferences, international scientific-practical conferences.

The Department is carrying out serious scientific research work, which involved students. The direction of scientific research is directly connected with a direction of scientific-research works, conducted at the State University of telecommunications, namely:
