Injuries in the Ukraine as of February 29, 2016

According to the State Service of Ukraine on labor in February 2016 in the Ukraine fatally injured 23 people. For comparison - in February 2015 fatally injured 30 people (down 23%).

From 22 to 28 February in the Ukraine fatally injured 6 people (1 person in enterprises of Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Rivne and Sumy regions).

Of injuries occurred:

• In the cultural sphere (2 persons);

• In the mining industry, metallurgy, the company transport, in agriculture (in 1st person).

According to operational records from the beginning of the year in the Ukraine fatally injured 50 people. For the same period in 2015 fatally injured 59 people (down 15%).

The main causes of accidents:

• accident and hit the vehicle (17 people);

• fall, collapse of items, materials, rocks, soil (7 persons);

• falling victim (9 persons);

• action items and moving parts (7 persons);

• the effect of harmful and toxic substances (3 people).
