Approved new rules of fire safety in communications

Administration of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Order of 30.03.2016 № 239/229 approved the new rules of fire safety in communication (the Rules).

The new rules will come into force from the date of publication. Accordingly then will become invalid Fire Safety Regulations in Communications, approved by the State Committee of Communications and Informatization of Ukraine of 26.10.2000 № 156.

State Special rules apply to, enterprises, institutions and organizations a special, electric, postal and movable objects (mobile) communications and wireless access and set the general and special requirements for fire safety and are binding for all communication units, regardless of ownership.

Fire safety requirements established by these Rules, considered at rebuilding premises objects as well as the operation of buildings adapted for connection or special communication. Use of rescue, fire and special vehicles and equipment for fire prevention and extinguishing them, disaster relief is possible only if the certificate of conformity.
